In the traditional Batak Toba wedding ceremony, North Sumatra, Indonesia, ulos Hela / son-in-law is given by the bride's parents to the bride and groom. The bride's parents will first circle the bride and then cover the bride and groom with ulos before tying the two ends of the ulos knot. This procession has the meaning that the bride's parents have released their daughter they have raised to hela / son-in-law
