It is truly an honor to have been chosen as the editor for Abbie and JM's extravagant Crazy Rich Asians-themed wedding at the stunning Gardens by the Bay in Singapore. From the moment I walked into the venue, I could tell this would be a wedding like no other.

The opulent decor transported guests to the glamorous world of Singapore's high society, with towering floral centerpieces, red and gold accents everywhere, and even a replica of the iconic Marina Bay Sands hotel. The fashion choices took inspiration from the book and movie, with the bride wearing a sumptuous Chinese-style gown and the groom in a traditional black Barong coat.

The wedding was filled with over-the-top details that made it feel more like a scene from the movie than real life, from the red and gold fortune cookies at each place setting to the live orchestra performing Cantonese love songs. However, nothing compared to the joy and love shared between the beautiful bride and handsome groom as they said their vows under the glow of twinkling lights in the famous Supertree Grove.

Getting to witness such a unique and extravagant wedding celebration, especially one that paid such loving homage to an iconic story that celebrates Asian culture, has been an experience I will treasure forever. I am deeply honored that Abbie and JM invited me into their special day and allowed me the privilege of helping tell the story of their Crazy Rich Asians love. It is a memory I will hold close as a best experience in my editing career.
